'00 s10. Want image as good as possible. Problem is that I want to get huge output also. I also don't want to modify the interior to far. I was thinking of a dyn 360 set but I don't feel its going to produce the output I am looking for. Any ideas what I can do to keep a good soundstage and good sq but get the big output I am looking for?

After reading the other post on horns I think I might try some. Extended cab.

Double up on mids and subs to keep up with them.....

Think I am going to try some ID CD2 COMP horns. I was thinking of doing to sets of componets too but this might prove to be more interesting. I will definately have the subs to backup whatever I get.

A pair of horns will get real loud, so I agree with Audiophyle put two mids on each side and they might keep up with the horns and subs.

Minihorns to the rescue! A favorite of Dukk...

Add some thing crazy like two 8s in each door.

Funny how the letters "hlcd" draws so much out of everyone I am thinking of a set of IDQ 8s to go with the horns. All this running off a PC4800.2 50x2@8ohm to the horns and 200x2@2ohm to the 8s. Think the 8s will be able to keep up or should I do two 6.5s? Could really easily do a set of 6.5s in kix and set in doors but that would send the soundstage flying I would think.

Tony Mueller had 6 1/2s in the doors and in the kicks- and has done pretty well in Iasca.

I would do the 8s if you had room, but the 2 6 1/2s would be cool too.

I'll have to decide if I want to chop up the truck to do 8s or not. How did Tony setup the 6s do you know? Were both sets running within the same freq range?
