I've been racking my brain trying to design my system to fit in the rear well of my camaro, and they just aren't going to fit. I've gotta fit two tube drivers and two tens in that well. If you're interested, they're in the for sale section with my other tube amp. Do you have any reccommendations for another good SQ 10" sub? I'm going out to a few shops to listen to the Diamond mtspt5, the IDQ10 and the JL10W3. Hopefully I can buy a new car soon that has a real trunk.....then I'll come huntin for another setof 250Ls

I'm tryin to get a picture up, so bear with me.

About all I can do for you is trade you a brand new set of Oz 200L's for the 250's. I havn't even used these, and they are still sealed in the boxes.... The 200's work in a sealed box @.5cf3, or a ported box of 1.06 tuned to 35hz.

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

Out of your choices I think for SQ the JL is outclassed by the other two, not bashing JL, but having used both JL and IDQ, I feel the M5 and IDQ are superior. Another one to consider if you have a dealer anywhere near you is Illusion Audio, I think they have better SQ than the other 3.

I really need to find a place where I can do some good comparisons.....ok, I'll post this elsewhere too, but does anyone here own a shop in IL. Preferably south of chicago, I live near kankakee, and I'm going to school in Peoria. I pretty much want to do some listening comparsons in my car....everything is already ran..."just add sub+box". thanks,

You should have loads of room for that gear. I found my Z28 to be relatively generous back there.

The only way it will work is if I mount my amps on gas tank hump.....the problem is I need that space. I'm a hockey player and my equipment Is a very tight sqeeze as it is. I've basiclly got to fit two tube drivers, two tens, my US amps 2-way xover, four 1/2 farad caps, two passive xovers, fuse/ground blocks, and an alpine 12 disc....
Here's my previous install.....
http://www.sounddomain.com/8341

and everything was a very very tight fit.

now my amps are twice the size, I have two subs, 4 caps, and a changer......now ya see my dilema? I'll probably put the changer in the storage compartment, put the fuse blocks in the A-piller in the 6x9 hole w/the passive xovers on the other side......I've thinkin more towards the diamond motorsport 5s, they'll go in .7 ea.....I have 5 weeks to figure it out so I've still got time to figure it out.

Changer in the storage pocket. cool.
Fusing in the 6x9 hole. Xovers in the other one. very cool.
Amps... Hmm. Toss the spare and make a custom rack in there. Caps in there too. Tres cool!
Lots of room for woofs.... I would keep them confined to the lower level of the well.
