I have one and would like to use balanced outputs but not sure what it's compatible with...Couldn't get any help from RF or Denon. I am considering Zapco SX-SL but not sure if it's compatible. I would love some sugestions on syestem set up mainly for balanced input indash processor options. I have a orion deq-30 to throw in the mix too. 8520 has 2 set of 6pin balanced outputs. can anyone confirm if outputs are compatible with zapco sybilink system?

They're compatible no problem, well the only problem is the proper connectors.

Thanks...I found that if you they are 6pin din the plugs are compatible but wiring isn't. for intance RF (OEQ2,SYMEPX2) and Soundstram uses same wiring patter but PG uses different using wiring digaram from PG EQ232 pin 1 and 6 is open or powered. In RF and SS pin 5 and 6 is open or powered. (input powered output open) and there are voltage differences too I know zapco uses 6pin din but havn't been able to find wiring diagram for it yet. I'm now thinking just go simple. RFX 8250 to audio control Three.1. I have a deq30 but don't want any DSP or DAC after RFX 8250.

Custom cables for balanced processors aren't too hard to build, it seems like every company who does balanced uses their own connector scheme. But in the end all it takes is the proper connectors on a cable which isn't hard to do, and the benefits are worth it.

Agreed, cables are fairly easy, and its nice to know you did them yourself.

screw that...I'd rather spend time fabricating and pay a few dollars to have JK Labs do it [Angel]
