You'll have to judge that for yourself really. I would start with them running from about 60Hz up to about 1K on the VERY high end. This will give you 4octave coverage from them, and cuts them off before they get to start ringing at 1.6K. My .02

Audiophyle, you said that you'll start from 60hz all the way to 1k...isn't 60 hz to low and 1k too high? I just need to create a bandpass for my midbass.
I was thinking of a 400hz-70hz for the midbass and 400hz-16k going to the boston pro( passive crossover will filter midrange and tweeters).
Do i have to put a gap between the midrange and midbass(eg. 400hz-70hz -midbass and 410hz-16k for seperates)or overlap the crosspoints?

You can do it however you want, but I thought you were looking for midbass? I generally try to run components to what they're engineered to do, and I dont think these 8's would sound bad running this range. I only tried to give you starting points where I'd work from, not absolute numbers that will sound great in your car. IMO, the lower you play those 8's, the better your bass upfront will sound.
