Buddy, the newest version only runs on xp and I THINK vista. it sucks cause I was using 98 for mines also, but I had to upgrade to get it to work. I got mines running on an old 500MHz IBM 390x.

Maybe you can try it with a XP Light version Mikko , enough availlable to let XP run in "light" modus for older Pc's , offcours with limited futures then

I have old laptop with Term-Lab version 3.8.x I only use that laptop for TL and i don't see reason why i should buy new laptop for only upgrading TL version little bit newer.
That's why i was asking what is latest version of TL what is working on 98. I know that 5."something" doesn't work anymore but maybe 4."something" works ?

Miko, We had troubles on Windows Vista. We had it work on windows 98. The TL version was the very first version. We have since bought a lab top (last year, cheep 300 doller one. lol) and loaded XP on it. It works fine and no difference in metering from 98 to XP. Probably one of the only ones who have got TL to work in windows 98. I don't have the specs for that computer though ;(.
We have only upgraded TL versions last year BTW. I seen no reason why to upgrade, since it is only used for the trooper.

I had found that average 30sec is working differently(about 0.3db difference) in my old TL version(running on win98) than newest TL version on xp. This is reason why i am looking litllebit newer version.
This is not big issue for me. I was only interested to see is it possible to make it shown same numbers than my PC(xp)
