On my way to the drag @ cn sounds last week, I did my usual pre-show testing on the way there... got one burp off, let the TL sit for about 20 minutes. Tried to get another one off and nothing happened.

After doing the usual plug/unplug/restart and such... I realized the status light on the box wasn't on. The power light is on, however.

After trying the box on another computer and with another USB cord - still no status light.

Is this an easy fix or will I have to send in my box? I've had it for over a year, so that means no warranty work?

If the Green Status light doesn't come on, then the interface box is not communicating with the computer.

This could be caused by ...

  • Instacal not installed.
  • Bad USB Cable
  • Inoperative USB port
  • Inoperative Green LED
  • Inoperative Interface Box

the USB port definitely works - not only does my USB mouse plug right in and work great, when the tlab is plugged in, the puter gives me an error message that something is wrong with the USB device plugged in (tlab).

I'll try reinstalling everything, see what happens.
