Hello,

I am in need of some support. My TermLAB.NET system is not working correctly. I have triple checked all connections and installation methods and are still having this same issue.

When I hit start the meter reads 182/183 dB and reports that the input signal is maximized.

I do have an exstensive knowledge of computers and electronics, also as i have said I have triple checked everything, but still can't find what is causing this problem.

I believe this unit may have gone back to you within the last 6 months with an issue, Wayne. Possibly a sensor issue???
Any help would be a great help....

Make sure that you are using the current version of the software (4.5.25).

In SPL mode, look in the SPL readout window. Verify that the currently selected input device is Sensor 1 (MDF: Sensor0001) for Channel A and Sensor 2 (MDF: Sensor0002) for Channel B.

You can use the input device selection buttons under Display Options to select the correct device. (It sounds like you are using the RTA mic configuration when taking SPL measurements.)

If the settings are correct, please look at the K-factors for both sensors and verify that they are close to 178.0.

Are you using the sensor cables come with your system, if not check that you using std ethernet cable and not inversed one (ones that is for direct conection without hub)

Good luck
